Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 18, 2026
1. Information we collect
Depending on the features you use, EditorialCrest Bloggers may process:
- account information such as your email address and authentication settings;
- workspace and application preferences;
- posts, drafts, images, videos, titles, descriptions and publication metadata you provide;
- identifiers and metadata for social accounts, pages, channels, boards or other destinations that you choose to connect;
- OAuth access and refresh tokens supplied by supported social platforms after you authorize EditorialCrest Bloggers;
- technical and security information required to operate the service, including session, security and diagnostic records.
2. Connected social-media accounts
EditorialCrest Bloggers connects to supported third-party platforms only after the user initiates the connection and authorizes access through the platform's own authorization process.
We do not ask users to provide their social-media passwords to EditorialCrest Bloggers.
Depending on the platform and permissions granted, the service may obtain the account identity and the destinations needed to publish content, such as pages, channels or boards owned or managed by the authenticated user.
3. Pinterest data
When a user connects Pinterest, EditorialCrest Bloggers may request access to basic Pinterest account information, the user's own boards and permission to create Pins. This information is used to identify the connected Pinterest account, display eligible boards and publish content to a board selected by the user.
EditorialCrest Bloggers does not use Pinterest permissions to read Pins or boards belonging to unrelated Pinterest users.
4. How we use information
We use information processed by the service to:
- authenticate users and protect accounts;
- provide the EditorialCrest Bloggers publishing workflow;
- display connected social destinations;
- publish or schedule content when requested by the user;
- maintain OAuth connections and refresh authorization when supported;
- prevent duplicate or unauthorized publication attempts;
- diagnose errors, protect the service and provide support.
5. OAuth credentials
OAuth credentials received from connected platforms are handled server-side and are not displayed back to users. Stored credentials are protected by the application's credential-storage controls.
When a supported social connection is disconnected, EditorialCrest Bloggers removes the stored authorization material and may request revocation from the provider where the provider supports revocation.
6. Sharing of information
Information is transmitted to a connected social platform when necessary to perform an action requested by the user, such as identifying an authorized destination or publishing content.
We may also use infrastructure and service providers where reasonably necessary to operate, secure and maintain EditorialCrest Bloggers.
7. Content and media
Content uploaded or created by a user is processed for the purpose of preparing, previewing, storing and delivering publications selected by that user. A connected platform may receive that content when a user publishes or schedules a publication to that platform.
8. Data retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain publication records, protect account security and comply with applicable operational or legal requirements.
Users can disconnect supported social accounts from EditorialCrest Bloggers. Requests concerning account or personal-data deletion can be submitted through the EditorialCrest Bloggers support channel.
9. Cookies and sessions
EditorialCrest Bloggers uses session and security mechanisms necessary to authenticate users, maintain signed-in sessions and protect requests against unauthorized actions.
10. Third-party services
Connected social platforms operate under their own privacy policies and terms. EditorialCrest Bloggers does not control how those platforms process information after content or authorized API requests are delivered to them.
11. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect credentials, account information and publication data against unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, integrations or legal requirements change. The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
13. Contact
Privacy questions or requests may be submitted through the support functionality provided by EditorialCrest Bloggers.
